BOOM OF PPP IN ITALY
The market for the realization of public works and services in PPP is growing. Despite a slight decline in the amounts when compared to the previous years, in 2017 the publication of notices is in any case very active. From the data published by Cresme in a report on “the market of public-private partnership in Italy -2017” published by Edilizia&Territorio, Sole24Ore, are emerging, however, the critical issues connected to the fact that despite the large numbers, many of the initiatives promoted through public procurement in PPP do not reach the execution phase of the contract.
