Private infrastructure financing in the United States

As mentioned by the online version of the British newspaper "The Guardian", the President of the United States Donald Trump wants to invest in PPP in the sector of infrastructures.

When looking overseas it is possible to spot several PPP experiences: at New York City's LaGuardia Airport the Port Authority of the City and New Jersey signed a contract for the planning, construction and management until 2050 of a new terminal in order to increase the passengers capacity.
But PPP can also be good for the environment: thanks to a recent cooperation between Washington’s District Department of Transportation, Golden Triangle Business Improvement District (BID) and the UK clean tech company Pavegen thousands kinetic panels were installed in Connecticut Avenue, in front of the White House, and they will convert pedestrians steps into electricity.
Furthermore, PPP is also a good source of employment: in Melbourne, Australia thanks to partnerships between the State and private companies people will be re-employed in the growing rail Industry.
